Guys noticed that rear MDF plank mounted in Punto for rear speakers falls off from its fixture due to heavy weight, is there any alternate work around for this.

I dont want speaker boxes in the boot as it consumes space.

How good are 5 1/4" speakers, how is effect when compared to 3 way coaxial speakers?

How will be the SQ after fixing them on the door? Please advice  Embarrassed

Veeresh,

Actually, fitting in the rear door locations is a better idea. If you don't want 6x9, box and all that, go for 5-1/4" or 6" co-axial (multiway) in the rear doors. It sounds very good.
Look into these options:
Pioneer TS-A643: 4-Way Speaker  - needs spacer to fit in
DLC 125 (Performance series) - needs spacer to fit in
or even the Polk Audio db501 - 5" speaker

6" speakers are a good choice here but you need a good installation using MDF wooden ring spacers.

Is rear speaker door speaker slot good enough for 6.5" speakers.

Can we use POLK db6501 for rear speakers on the rear door? Pls advice on SQ. My main concern is will speakers handel the door "whamming" (slamming the doors), will that impact the performance of speakers.

Also please Cry  post pics of speaker setup box in boot for Punto .

db6501? Its a component speaker ... so overall you will have more 'treble' in the music.
But yes, it can be fit. The slot doesn't take the 6.5" straight, we need to use spacers for that.
