Bluetrek introduces NXT-based hands-free speakers

Bluetrek, manufacturer of CES 2007 award winning headset, BLUETREK X2, announced the introduction of the world’s first in-car hands-free speaker kits to utilise NXT technology.NXT plc, a provider of unique sound solutions, best known for its flat panel loudspeaker technology. The products are named as :Bluetrek SurfaceSound Duo & Bluetrek SurfaceSound Compact.

Bluetrek, a brand of ModeLabs Group, is a rising name in the world of Bluetooth consumer products. It has built its success on the highly-acclaimed G2, the first lightweight and fashionable Bluetooth headset.

With stringent regulations prohibiting the use of hand-held devices while driving coming into force around the world, the introduction of the SurfaceSound Duo and SurfaceSound Compact products is particularly timely. NXT’s characteristically diffuse loudspeaker technology is employed to deliver crystal clear voice reproduction from an ultra thin flat panel speaker that simply attaches to the sun visor of any vehicle.

The SurfaceSound Duo is a combination headset and speaker in-car hands-free kit, giving the user two ways to enjoy high quality hands-free telephone conversations while driving.
