Disappointing! That’s all We can say for Car Audio lovers.
Vahan Yatra, this time quietly started in Bangalore from 10th of December 2008. There were no promos, no invitation campaigns and many of us were not sent invitations also. It partly attributes to the slowing economy.
Well, we made it to visit the expo on first day. We could see many of the car modifications, new car exhibitions and very few car audio companies.
Unlike last year, the buzzing of JBL, the beats of SSPL’s SoundStream and JL Audio were completely absent in the exhibition. Audible Dynamics is exhibiting its demo car serving nice music with their Blues & Calypso series speakers powered by Calypso C 100.4 amplifiers. Ah! the demo car has been fitted with their C 1000 DVC, a giant dual voice coil subwoofer, so that you won’t miss low frequencies & the punch.
All in all, this year’s Vahan Yatra might be useful, if you are wanting to see more bikes & Cars thus making it literally Vahan Yatra ("Vehicle show").

This year vaahan yatra car show is not up to the mark,very few display of the cars,bikes etc……last year was much better.
vahan yatra 2008 was a waste of time. it was more of a consumer fair than anything related automotives beyond the few demo cars and ad.
It was really sad…
the vehicles parked outside were better than those in the so called exhibition..
Audio stuff was zero
